Description
In 2020, NEORide, a council of governments focused on improving transportation coordination, received an Integrated Mobility Innovation grant from the Federal Transit Administration to launch EZfare, an account-based mobile ticketing system. Building upon EZfare’s success, NEORide has piloted various programs to improve regional transportation, including EZConnect, a one-click/one-call program that serves agencies in different geographies by pairing riders with on-demand human transportation services.
