Webinar
2023

Description

In this webinar, the Shared-Use Mobility Center (SUMC) presented a framework for what a microtransit service and network should look like in a community. The City of Dublin, Ohio provided an example of its microtransit system, operated by SHARE Mobility. SHARE Mobility is an operator of microtransit systems across the United States. Attendees learned the difference between the two terms and found out about how to do the following: 1. What is microtransit?, 2. Planning a successful microtransit service, 3. How microtransit can integrate into the established transit systems, 4. How can microtransit benefit commuters in your community, and 5. How can microtransit services help fill transportation gaps for older adults and people with disabilities?
